About

هانیه مدنی راد/Hanieh Madanirad, MFA is an interdisciplinary artist working across themes that encompass women’s rights to social justice. Her works and experience cover a wide span including graphic design, fashion design, photography, painting, sculpture, and performance art. 

Hanieh earned her BFA in Graphic Design in Iran in tandem with running a design company. To expand upon her design skills, Hanieh gained expertise in various design tools including Adobe Creative Suite.Her advertisement company, Artiman, which served various clients, from local businesses to multinational companies with graphic and advertisement design, and branding solutions from 2008 to 2014. In addition, she acquired academic and practical experience in photography and fashion design. At 24, Hanieh started a new private business, HaniRad Fashion House, and run the business for three years until she immigrated to the United States. 

Hanieh earned her MFA in Visual Arts from Texas Woman’s University in 2021. Her thesis addresses gender inequalities with a focusing on Middle Eastern women.
